About Us

The Divorcio platform was inspired by the long-standing activities of WOMEN FOR WOMEN, an organisation that has been supporting children and parents in difficult life situations for more than ten years.

WOMEN FOR WOMEN has extensive experience supporting parents during separation and divorce, particularly through its Family Service project, which helps minimize the impact of family crises on children’s well-being. Divorcio was therefore created in response to the high divorce rate, limited access to professional support, lengthy divorce proceedings, and the lack of a universal digital tool that could help parents better navigate their situation, address shared matters, and reduce the risk of further disruption to family relationships.

Divorcio is a LegalTech startup born out of Europe’s social innovation space. We saw a huge unmet need: families facing divorce and separation had no simple, digital-first tools to guide them through one of life’s hardest moments. Our mission is to change that — by combining proven family mediation practices with technology that makes agreements faster, fairer, and more affordable.


Our roots

The idea grew from over a decade of experience in family support and mediation programs. In 2023–24, our founding team connected those insights with product and tech know-how to design Divorcio: a digital roadmap for parents and partners to navigate divorce with clarity and dignity.
